1. About us

Kuntry Windows is an independent window, door and roofline installation business based in Birmingham, West Midlands, serving the wider Midlands. Contact: info@kuntrywindows.co.uk.

2. Quotes

All quotes are free, no-obligation, and valid for 90 days from issue. The price we quote is the price you pay — no VAT and no extras added later. Quoted prices cover all materials, all labour, and removal of old units. Quoted prices exclude: making good of internal plaster damage beyond a 50mm reveal, structural repairs to rotten timber subframes (rare on uPVC replacements), and access scaffolding for second-storey jobs on properties without safe ladder access.

3. Orders & deposits

Orders are confirmed when you sign the quote and pay a 25% deposit. The deposit covers material manufacture and is non-refundable once frames are in production (typically 3 working days after order). The 75% balance is due on completion of the install — payment is not requested or accepted before the job is signed off by you.

4. Cancellation

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days to cancel an order placed in your home for any reason, with a full refund. After that, cancellation is at our discretion and may incur a charge for materials already manufactured.

5. Installation

Install dates are confirmed once materials are ready (typically 3–4 weeks from order). We give a firm start and end date in writing. If we miss the start date by more than 7 days for reasons within our control, you may cancel without penalty and have your deposit refunded in full.

6. Guarantee

All installations carry our workmanship guarantee, covering the quality of the installation itself — the fit, the seal, and the correct operation of the frame, glass unit, locking mechanism and hinges. Manufacturer warranties on the products themselves are passed to you in writing with your paperwork. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental impact, building movement, or modifications made by third parties after our install.

7. Liability

Our liability for any one installation is limited to the contract value of that installation. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud — your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

8. Disputes

If something goes wrong, contact us first — most issues are resolved on a single follow-up visit. If we can't agree, you retain all your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to take the matter to the county court. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
